The mallard is a large and regal looking duck. It has a long body and a long and broad bill. The male has a dark green head, a yellow bill, whereas the female is mainly brown with an orange bill. They are the most widespread of all the ducks. John has designed this fabulous shape with rich browns and green and has used vibrant cobalt blue on the wings and feathers. The whole piece has been finished off with rich 22 carat gold.

Friesian Cow Modelled and designed by John Ablitt. 6 1/4 ins (16cm) in Length. English potteries have for centuries made china cows in one form or another. Within this long tradition Derby presents the first in a series of Friesian Cows - Buttercup. As she is a Derby cow, Buttercup has deep inglaze blue markings and reclines on a base of stylised leaves and Buttercup flowers.

This executive desk box (13 1/2"x 8 1/2" x 2 1/2") is lined with it's own cherry-stained poplar wood.  Two standard lines identifying your institution's title and location are included at no additional charge. There is a scene available for most four year colleges as well as medical and law schools too.
